The idea for today's layout came from this month's Scrapbook Inspirations Shimelle Laine. She used a cut down page protector on her layout so she could add more photos. Now I like to do double page spreads with lots of photos but my albums are bulging. So I thought I would give this idea a try. I made my book up and kept my embellishments flat so I could laminate each page. I then stitched around the front cover so this would match the layout, I stitched the pages together and stuck the mini book to my layout. I have cut a hole in my page protector so the mini book can be viewed. I am really pleased how this layout has turned out and I am glad I took the plunge to try stitching on my layout.
