Hello everyone...Genny here. For todays design team make I am using the fabulous 'One Summers Day 'cdrom brought to us from Joanna Sheen. There are just so many designs on this cd...it's a pleasure to use. For todays cards I have picked two very simple floral designs, just to share the thought that all cards don't have to be decorated up to the nines...that sometimes simple works just as well. For both these cards I have just used the image from the cd, alongside it's backing paper and added a bow. The only other thing I have done is to mount both the image and the backing paper onto some holographic silver card.
On both sheets containing the images there are a choice of matching greetings, which I have also used. These floral images are just so delightful that they could be used for any number of occasions and I think they would be well received.Just lately the trend seems to be to chuck everything in your stash at a card, but I think that both these cards prove that it doesn't always have to be the case. Somedays you may feel like making an elaborate card and have the time to do just that. But somedays you just want to be able to make a simple card in a hurry and yet you still want it to be special for the person that you're sending it too. There are just so many wonderful different images on this cd..it well worth adding to your stash.
