Sorry but I have no cards to show you today!
I have had a very busy day though, I left the house at 9am this morning and have been out nearly all day. Just got back from the supermarket so I thought I would have a bit of me time on the computer before i go to bed.
The reason I have been out of the house for so long to day is that apart from my part time job I have had the last session on a first aid course and then spent the rest of the day in school setting up for the Christmas fair, which is tomorrow. If I get chance I will take a few photos and put them on here at the weekend. Then at tea time I had to take Jake for his swimming lesson.
Phew what a day and It will be as hectic tomorrow.
Bye for now!

Lilac Collage Card
Today's card is a very pretty collage but I don't think that the photo really does it justice.
I have used mottled lilac paper, dark lilac pearlescent card, vellum, shrink plastic, glitter glue,
lilac & purple printed paper, small tag punch, a selection of small rubber stamps, a brad, peel off dots, a large text background stamp from Judikins, a border punch a piece of left over caught in crystal which I have stamped a postage stamp on to, a Brilliance ink pad in Twilight, large dragon fly punch and a large leaf punch for the shrink plastic.
Hope you enjoy looking at the card!
See you all tomorrow.

Morning Glory
Today I thought I would show you a favourite of mine, the label technique, using one of my all time favourite stamps from PSX.
The image has been coloured using marvy felt pens and the background has been coloured with chalks. The butterfly has been stamped on white card using a multi coloured ink pad and also stamped on acetate using Stazon ink, then the two images are sandwiched together. I have added a small amount of glitter to the orange parts of the flower for a bit of bling!
Have a great Monday!

Christmas Cards Again!
I'm afraid it's Christmas cards again, I think I have nearly finished making them now. Well I did start making them late this year as I have only had my craft room for a short while.
The first card is two die cut trees stuck together and the small flaps folded forward. I then decorated with peel off dots.
The second card is a lovely rub on snowman and this will make a nice card for one of my Niece's little boy's.
I hope you have all had a great weekend.
Don't forget when I get to a 1000 hits which will be soon I will be offering some Blog Candy. So don't for get to keep checking back!

Some simple Christmas cards for today!
Today I have been sorting my craft room out as it was messy and also I have tidy my ribbon stash!
These four cards have been made from left over stickers and peel offs, as I am trying to use some of my stash up and not buy any more this year.
It's hard when you go out or watch TV and you see some lovely new craft item you want but you don't need. I bet I am not the only one who does this!
Hope you have all had a great Saturday!

Some more Christmas cards!
It's Thursday again and I have been a very bad blogger this week but I have got a very good reason. I have been poorly with a very bad cold (and still am) and I have had Jake off school with the same thing and the last thing I have wanted to do is make cards. I have a couple of cards to show you, they are very simple but I like them.
I have only used die cuts, vellum, peel offs
and docraft paper.
There will be a few more simple cards uploaded
tomorrow.
Hope you enjoy looking at them!

Bauble Cards
The idea for the bauble cards came from another blog ( sorry I can't remember who it was) and she used brads. So I had a think to see what I could come up with. On the red card I found these little metal embellishments at Tesco's for £2 a pack and you get quite a few.
On the snowflake card I have used large brads
which I bought from the Range in Doncaster.
Finally the green card is using some more brads with the paper to match which is Christmas Blue from Dovecraft from the Range.
These are three very simple and quick cards to make especially when we have a lot of cards to send out at Christmas time.
I hope you enjoy looking at these cards and I hope you will have ago at making some yourself.
Have a great Friday!
Fab post day!

Santas Sleigh
I just love this paper from Hot of the press so I had to use it again! The sleigh stamp is from Impressive Stamps Inc. and I have had it years and never used it before. The tree and present die cuts are made using my Bosskut dies and I have added a few peel offs to add a bit of bling. The sleigh has been watercoloured, I then added some glitter glue to the top of the sleigh and dimensional glaze to the berries.
A simple card to make but I think effective.
Have a great Tuesday and thanks for looking!

Santa Card
This Santa stamp has to be one of my all time favourite stamps. I have used him loads of times, it is amazing just what you can do with one stamp.
I used Versafine vintage sepia ink pad to stamp with as this ink pad is a lot softer than using black. I then coloured his face with chalks; used a gold gel pen on his glasses; then applied diamond glaze on his glasses to make them more realistic. I then added some glitter glue to the snowflakes to add a bit of bling. Of course I had to use my Nestabilities and my gold zooms. The background paper came from Hot of the press. To finish the card off I have added red organza ribbon and peel offs.
Hope you enjoy the card.

Snowman Soup
I found this really neet idea on Splitcoast Stampers the other day while looking for some ideas for our Christmas Fair at school this year. You can download the cup template from the Mirkwood site it is a very easy project to do.
Enjoy!
This is the poem;
When the weather outside is frightful,
Snowman soup can be delightful.
May it warm your spirit and your soul.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
When you feel a chill or 'brrrrrr',
Use the peppermint stick to stir.
Add hot water and sip slow.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

My card for Adele's Birthday!
Adele loves cats and penguins and as I made a cat card from my mum I thought I had better do a penguin card. It gets harder and harder each year to come up with a different card when she only likes these two things.
I used snowflake card, white card, igloo die cut, Bosskuts die for the presents, peel off dots and the penguin stamp is from Magenta.
Happy Birthday Adele if you are reading this.
Enjoy the card!

Adele's birthday card
I made this card for my mum to give to Adele for her birthday
on Saturday. Adele loves cats so it had to be a cat card. I can't remember who made the decoupage sheet, the background paper came from Hot Of The Press, paw print ribbon, peel offs, prima flowers, zooms and iridescent champagne card. I have also shown the verse I have used.
Now all I have to do is make our card for her which will be penguins, another favourite of Adele's. Mind you I am going to find it difficult to stamp as I have tripped up today and hurt my right arm and shoulder. It is quite painful at the moment when I move my arm so I might have to stamp left handed, that should be fun.
Hope you enjoy looking at the card!

Wire Poinsettia
Today's card is using a lovely wire poinsettia stamp from Stampendous, Nestabilities, peel offs Merry Christmas, holly corner, dots, peel off pens, iridescent champagne A5 card, red satin ribbon, a red and olive green felt pens and cupids ribbon paper.
This is quite a quick card to make and looks a lot better in real life.
Have a lovely day!

Christmas Tree Oh Christmas Tree
Well it has been a strange day to day, the children are back to school and I am back to work, it just seems to have gone on forever today. Mind you we have had just finished the fireworks so I thought I would pop in my craft room and post my card for today.
I first made this card at a workshop with Francoise Read and just loved it so I have been making some more as it is quite easy to make.
I used a triangle card, tree and present rubber stamps, shrink plastic (for the presents), gold peel off star strips, red glitter glue and a Green Mica Magic ink pad.
All products are from Woodware.
Hope you enjoy looking at this card!

What a busy week!
Well it certainly has been a busy week for me and no time for crafting. It has been half term here for my children and they have been quite busy this week. I have been catching up on some housework and once you start cleaning you seem to find more things that need doing!
Adele had a Halloween party and I will post photos at the weekend. So tonight I thought I would post my photos of Halloween.
Adele did a pumpkin carving as she had a large one, which looked very effective and Jake carved a face on his as he only had a small pumpkin. The photo is a bit unsharp but it was the best I could do in the dark.
Enjoy!
