CD Photo Cube!

Hello everyone, today's project is a photo cube made out of Cd's!
The idea came from here.

I had great fun putting this project together but I did find that my Cd's did
not want to snap together very well.
Also the card base is a very tight fit and mine has split on one corner.
I will certainly make another one but I think I will have to modify it a bit!

I am going to make some more mini books this year to go in my photo cube and
it will take pride of place on my coffee table this year!
Edit; Yes you can change your pages, you just pop the cd apart. Mind you
I don't know how many time you could take it apart before something broke!
Enjoy your evening!

Wedding Gift & Card

Today's post is to show you a card (which is already on my blog) and a gift for my son's best friend who got married yesterday! There is a bottle of champagne and some champagne flute glasses. Carl did not have a box for the glasses, so I had to make one for them, easy I thought but then I did not have any card bigger than 12 x 12. Oh no I thought what am I going to do! Then I remembered when I was blog hopping I found a tutorial for a box, just the bottom ( sorry I can't remember who's blog it was but I will try and find out so I can post a link here), so I set to work scaling down the pattern and when I was happy I made two boxes and stuck them together. Popped a glass in each box and used gold tissue paper around them, then I glass them up and finished the gift of with some cream and burgundy organza ribbon. If you click on the photo it will enlarge for you.

Enjoy!
Have a great Saturday!

Snowman Soup

I found this really neet idea on Splitcoast Stampers the other day while looking for some ideas for our Christmas Fair at school this year. You can download the cup template from the Mirkwood site it is a very easy project to do.
This is the poem;

When the weather outside is frightful,
Snowman soup can be delightful.
May it warm your spirit and your soul.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

When you feel a chill or 'brrrrrr',
Use the peppermint stick to stir.
Add hot water and sip slow.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Enjoy!
