Silver Wedding Anniversary Card!

Good morning everyone!
I see the weather has changed again. It has gone quite cold here and
very windy. I nearly got blown away going out to my craft room.

Today's card was made for Kevin's brother & his wife as it was there
Silver Wedding Anniversary yesterday.

The template came from Arty Farty Design.
I really had great fun making this card up and it did not take
to long to create.
I had to make the box deeper to take my card as it sticks out a long way.
Then to stop it from tipping over I stuck a metal washer out of sight on the inside of the back of the card.

Hope you enjoy looking at the card!
Have a good day.

Morning everyone!
Today's card is using up some leftover bits from my Amaryllis card class
that I shared with you last week.

Penny Black Challenge Card!

I have just found the Penny Black Saturday Challenge Blog so I thought I would have ago at there circle card challenge for this week.

I cut my circle scallop card with my Nestabilities die.
Then stippled with pink chalk ink.
Added some sparkle circle dots and a bow.
I used my Nestabilities circle & scallop dies to cut out a white, black & pink circle.
Stamped my image on to the white card
and then coloured with my Prismacolor crayons.
Layered the circles up and mounted on to my card using sticky pads.
Then I added a bit of glitter to finish of the card.

Thanks for looking!

Jakes just come home from school (lunch time)

Snow Layout!

This is my first scrapbook layout for a while.I must admit I love to scrapbook but I seem to have lost my mojo.
The other day I bought a copy of Scrapbook Inspirations and found a layout by Mary Anne Walters which gave me the push I needed to create this layout.

I used white cs for the background.
A piece of snowflake paper.
A panel of white cs which I coloured using direct to paper technique with pigment inks which I then embossed with clear powder. If you click on the picture to make it large you should see the detail better.
Snowflake & snowman stickers.
Winter ribbon.
Snowflake brads.
The word snow has been cut on my Cricut, I then inked the lower half of the letters with white ink and then embossed with clear powder.
The journaling block is a rubber stamp from Stampendous.
The photograph was taken on Monday afternoon of Jake & Joseph in our back garden after the school shut for the day.

Well it has been snowing for hours today and Jake has had to go to school.
So he was not a happy boy this morning.
I now need to find out whether I have to go to work or not.

Have a great day everyone whatever you are doing!

Julie

Oh no I have just realised my N is the wrong way round in snow.

Teddy Bear 5th Birthday Card!

Good morning everyone!

Well the snow is finally melting and everything is back to normal
so I can get on with some crafting.
Today's card I from a download witch I bought from
Polly Crafts it's the girly teddy bear & numbers and is so cute!
The idea for the card came from a sketch off the internet but I can not remember
from which blog I got it from.
When I do I will post a link here.
I love the image and the layout of the card but I am not sure about the colours.
I hope they will grow on me.
I coloured the image with my Promarkers.

Have a lovely day whatever you are doing.

I really love this flower stamp and I think this
card shows you can make a nice card using
only two stamps.

The image is watercoloured and I have four layers
altogether.

I have stamped around the front pink panel
and the insert using my Versamark ink pad.

I added some glitter to my flower to finish it off!

We Have Snow!

We have snow and as you can see from the photo it is coming down pretty fast!
Jake has gone to school and Adele is at collage and I have to go to work in school soon. I can see if it keeps snowing school will be closed early today.

Poor old Tabby was out in the snow all night, he just did not want to stop in, he left us at 12.30am.
I found him in his shelter that we made him at 7.00am this morning and he is now fast asleep in front of the radiator.
