This weeks challenge on cupcake is a sketch challenge. Here is my card!
Paper; birthday stripes from PSX, stars from Hot of the Press. Card; light & dark blue Bazzill Basic, silver & white main card. Stamp; pocket stamp FRQ005 Woodware. Other; peel off siler dots & blue buttons, eyelets and die cut teddy.
Morning everyone! Today's card was made for my Mother-in-law to give to Stephen & Gill for their Silver Wedding. The background paper came from a book, Hot of The Press i think. Decoupage image from the Roses Cd by Robert Adams.I love this Cd it is amazing how many cards I have made using it! This is a large card using A3 card, first time I have made a card this big!
Good morning everyone! I see the weather has changed again. It has gone quite cold here and very windy. I nearly got blown away going out to my craft room.
Today's card was made for Kevin's brother & his wife as it was there Silver Wedding Anniversary yesterday.
The template came from Arty Farty Design. I really had great fun making this card up and it did not take to long to create. I had to make the box deeper to take my card as it sticks out a long way. Then to stop it from tipping over I stuck a metal washer out of sight on the inside of the back of the card.
Hope you enjoy looking at the card! Have a good day.
Card; white & black. Paper; spots from Diecuts with a view. Stamp; FFS 9061008 G. Ink Pads; Black Stazon & white colorbox. Other; White Prima flower, brad, peel off stickers, nestabilities rectangles, grey & pink Copic pens.
Oh my I have just taken the plunge to change my blog what do you think? The background & header came from Deb's blog. Not sure how to or if I can change the side bit from pink to blue. But if anyone can help please let me know!
Evening everyone! Hope you all have had a good day. The weather has been wonderful today, can't believe the change. I have been busy making some cards which I will share with you all over the next few days.
I took these two photos of Kitty & Tabby while the where sunning themselves on the landing this afternoon. They do not normally get this close to each other, so of course I had to take some photos!
I am a bit late with this weeks Penny Black challenge. Not totally thrilled with my card but when you have spent time colouring in the image you have to used it! Forgot to say it was a sketch challenge.
Wow where has the day gone! I am sorry to say that I have no cards to share today. We have been babysitting Amelia who is 4 for the first time. We have had a nice day but I sure am tired! It is amazing how quick you forget what it is like having young children in the house.
Now I need to get my bag packed for tomorrows class.
I though I would take part in this weeks Valentine challenge on the Forever Friends challenge blog. I used some more of my heart paper from Shabby Princess. Cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder. Red ribbon. Red peel off dots. Red chalk ink pad. Red & white card stock. Red zooms. Felt pens. Diamond glaze of the heart.
I really enjoyed making this card for the Penny Black challenge for this week!
Stamp Tulips in bloom. Ribbon red organza. Card stock white, red & black. Cuttlebug script embossing folder. Ink black Stazon & red chalk. Peel off stickers with love & red dots. Background paper red with hearts & swirls is a free download from Shabbyprincess. Red heart brad.
The image is watercoloured, then I added a bit of glitter to the flowers & the corner of the pail. After I coloured the heart on the bucket I added some diamond glaze.
Morning everyone! Today's card is using up some leftover bits from my Amaryllis card class that I shared with you last week. I kept it nice and simple, no layering of the image. I used my Versamark ink pad and a feather stamp on the main card, not sure if you will be able to see this but it looks nice in real life.
I cut my circle scallop card with my Nestabilities die. Then stippled with pink chalk ink. Added some sparkle circle dots and a bow. I used my Nestabilities circle & scallop dies to cut out a white, black & pink circle. Stamped my image on to the white card and then coloured with my Prismacolor crayons. Layered the circles up and mounted on to my card using sticky pads. Then I added a bit of glitter to finish of the card.
Thanks for looking!
Jakes just come home from school (lunch time) as the school is now shut. We are going to have some lunch then his friend is coming round to play in the snow!
This is my first scrapbook layout for a while.I must admit I love to scrapbook but I seem to have lost my mojo. The other day I bought a copy of Scrapbook Inspirations and found a layout by Mary Anne Walters which gave me the push I needed to create this layout.
I used white cs for the background. A piece of snowflake paper. A panel of white cs which I coloured using direct to paper technique with pigment inks which I then embossed with clear powder. If you click on the picture to make it large you should see the detail better. Snowflake & snowman stickers. Winter ribbon. Snowflake brads. The word snow has been cut on my Cricut, I then inked the lower half of the letters with white ink and then embossed with clear powder. The journaling block is a rubber stamp from Stampendous. The photograph was taken on Monday afternoon of Jake & Joseph in our back garden after the school shut for the day.
Well it has been snowing for hours today and Jake has had to go to school. So he was not a happy boy this morning. I now need to find out whether I have to go to work or not.
Have a great day everyone whatever you are doing!
Oh no I have just realised my N is the wrong way round in snow.
Well the snow is finally melting and everything is back to normal so I can get on with some crafting. Today's card I from a download witch I bought from Polly Crafts it's the girly teddy bear & numbers and is so cute! The idea for the card came from a sketch off the internet but I can not remember from which blog I got it from. When I do I will post a link here. I love the image and the layout of the card but I am not sure about the colours. I hope they will grow on me. I coloured the image with my Promarkers.
We have snow and as you can see from the photo it is coming down pretty fast! Jake has gone to school and Adele is at collage and I have to go to work in school soon. I can see if it keeps snowing school will be closed early today.
Poor old Tabby was out in the snow all night, he just did not want to stop in, he left us at 12.30am. I found him in his shelter that we made him at 7.00am this morning and he is now fast asleep in front of the radiator.
