I was given this stamp to play with this month

and these papers

from Basic Grey - Aged&Confused Collection

For my last project I have made a candle

I have never used the stamps from Stamendous before and was pleasantly surprised how lovely they stamped. The image was so crisp and clear and so easy to work with.
It is foam backed and self-clings to your block

I stamped the image onto some paper I had measured out to fit the candle and stamped onto it and glued it to my candle - It really is that simple to get an effective present for the man who has everything

I always cut out my candle before decorating so I can use a tea-light

But as always NEVER leave it unattended

I have had fun playing with these papers and this stamp, here is the full set you can make

Thanks for popping by today

Stampendous "Art " Stamp

Happy weekend crafters!!
I hope you are all having a good weekend? A very crafty one for me. Today I am sharing a wall hanging I have made for my craft room using the stamp set "Artist Elements" from Stampendous, Available online and instore now from Julie at JB_ Crafting Supplies
Here are the papers and stamps I have been working with this week...
I found a lovely sentiment I thought would work perfectly with this stamp set, so lovely I thought I would like to have it hanging in my craft room, so... I set to work. I created a patchwork background using the lovely papers from Graphic 45, then for my topper I printed the sentiment in the centre and using the stamp I decorated around the edges. added a few teeny tiny Diamantes for a little sparkle, then backed onto stiff card, hanging some ribbon inbetween the front and back board...and here it is..
I hope you like my project this week.
Happy crafting
Nicole

Today I have made a gift bag

Men are so hard to make for so making a simple set using just one stamp is a great way to make something for em!

I had never used the stamps from Stamendous before and was pleasantly surprised how lovely they stamped. The image was so crisp and clear and so easy to work with.
It is foam backed and self-clings to your block

I made a bag template and covered it with the basic grey papers
I stamped the image on the bag - I am very confident with these stamps that I was able to do this straight onto the finished bag.

Bebunni from Crafters Companion

Good afternoon everyone....Genny here. This cd is available from Julie here at jb crafting-supplies. Today I'm again featuring this wonderful cdrom by Crafters Companion. The Bebunni designs are great images for birthday cards, bringing along lots of spring colours. On todays cards I have used two of the card companion sets. All the matting and layering is all ready on a sheet and all you have to do is layer them up and embellish as you wish. There is just so much packed into these two cds including everything you could wish for when organising a party. When you look in the shops at the cost of matching partywear...this cd makes perfect sense if you want to save yourself a fortune.
There are shaped cards, number birthday cards, huge maxi and mini kits, alphabets, borders and decoupage to name but a few..just on the one cd..while the second cd is packed with everything for the perfect co-ordinated party. It is a great cd to add to your own cd library and I do hope you will take a look. So until next time..take care and happy crafting.

I stamped the image straight onto the paper using black ink

Bebunni from Crafters Companion

Todays cards are from the fantastic cdrom Bebunni brought to us by Crafters Companion. There is so much on this double cdrom..it was hard to know where to start. For todays selection I chose to do one of the mini kits that are featured on the cd. It is all ready to print out and you get a fantastic selection of cards in various sizes.
The card above is a 6x6, whilst the one below is an 8x8. Apart from printing out the mini kit..I just printed out some backing papers from the design sets and a sheet of borders from that section.

I have really enjoyed working with this cdrom and have lots more ideas to share with you next week. As always you can purchase this cd from Julie here at JB-Crafting supplies. As always she also has a fantastic selection of embellishments that would work so well with the images on this cd
I would like to take this chance to wish you all a happy new year and hope that 2014 brings you much happiness, good health and good times. So until next time...take care and happy crafting.

Stampendous Stamps

Good morning crafters! and Happy New Year to you all! Today see's a new DT post with some brand new goodies from Julie.
This month I have recieved some GORGEOUS papers
oooooh I didnt know which ones to play with first!! Some Graphic 45- Old Curiosity Shoppe Collection (OMG sooooooo Lovely!) some Tim Holtz Distress Collection, Coodinations card stock, and also a few papers from Aged & Confused Sublime Collection and finally BasicGrey. All of them beeeeeautiful! Then also a lovely stamp from Stampendous
So my little stash was crying out for a distressed card I thought, and with such gorgeous papers it was so hard to choose! But I decided to go with some from the Graphic 45 collection- ( My Favourite!)
.....and here you are...

I chose a background paper distressed the edges and inked with Tim Holtz walnut stain and glued into place, I then chose THE most gorgeous butterfly paper that again I distressed, inked and curled the edges to and attached to the top left of my card. I stamped my image using Tim Holtz Walnut Stain and then coloured in by putting a big splodge of the same ink onto my glass mat and coloured in with a simple paint brush and water.....seemed fitting really painting paint brushes lol. I printed a sentiment I thought would suit my image onto a piece of coordinations cardstock, and followed suit by inking and distressing, I curled the sentiment at both ends and attached into place, then finished off with a small gold cherub.. this is actually a button I snipped the hoop off the back and glued with cosmic shimmer,
and there we have it...an "Arty" distressed card.
All products used are available from JB-Crafting Supplies both online and instore right now
so...happy crafting...untill next week!
