Kitty

We have had to take Kitty back to the vets tonight.
She has not been eating.
It is not very good news I am afraid.
I said we should let her go as I think she has suffered enough, she is so thin
and her kidneys are suffering.
But Kevin said give her another chance.
We were both in tears as we have got so attached to her in a short time.
Mind you Kitty has been sulking with me today, she would not let me fuss her.
When she was sat on the vets table she put her head in my chest and let me fuss her.
So she is now spending the night at the vets and they will put her on a drip
and will try to get her to eat. They will phone us tomorrow and if there is no improvement she will be put to sleep.
I am finding this hard to type with the tears rolling down my face but I felt the need to share
this sad news with my blogging friends!

  1. Oh Julie, I am so sorry that it has come to this. I am praying for her, I am not religious but its in 'the man upstairs' hands now. I have been in similiar situations, it is never easy to say goodbye to a dear friend, but take comfort in the fact that you gave her a good home and love, that is all she could ask for. Thinking of you Heidi xxx
